WCHS Head Football Coach Jensen Announces Retirement

Warsaw Community High School Head Football Coach Phil Jensen announced his retirement from coaching football today, Monday, Dec. 4. Jensen met with students today to share the announcement as well as local sports media. His retirement from coaching is effective immediately. Jensen, a 1983 Penn High School graduate, attended Butler University where he played football.

Tiger varsity football coach, Phil Jensen, recorded his 104th victory as Tiger head coach on Friday, October 27 in a 1st round sectional match-up with Chesterton. Varsity Football hosts Chesterton Friday night

The Warsaw Tigers football team will host the Chesterton Trojans in sectional football action Friday night (10/27/18). The game will be a 7:30 PM EST. Gates will open at 6:30 PM. Tickets are $6 each, and all sports passes may NOT be used for this IHSAA event. Come out and support your Tigers!!

Warsaw Grad Mevis Patriot League Player of the Week

Warsaw High School graduate Andrew Mevis was named Patriot League Special Teams Player of the Week. Mevis went 3-for-3 on field goal attempts, connecting from 30, 31 and 31 and accounted for 10 of the Rams’ 17 points in a victory over Georgetown on Saturday. The freshman also punted eight times for 324 yards (40.5 yards/punt)
