The visiting Warsaw Tigers beat the Goshen Redhawks 61-39 to push their record in the NLC to 3-0. Goshen jumped out to 8 point leads at 10-2 and 19-11 before Warsaw surged to close the half up 25-22. The Tigers rode that late second quarter surge into the 2nd half to outscore the hosts 36-17 in the third and fourth quarters.
Nolan Groninger led in scoring with 16 pts to go with 3 assists. Trevor Rumple added 13 pts and 3 rebounds. Tyler Metzinger played well guarding Goshen’s best offensive post player while adding 10 pts. Jaylen Reese scored 7 pts, dished out 4 assists, and made it a long night for the Redhawk’s best player. Wyatt Amiss led the team in assists and rebounds with 4 each. Rounding out the scoring were: Blake Marsh 6, Luke Adamiec 4, Jaylen Coon 2, Keagan Larsh 2, Bishop Walters 1.
Warsaw travels to Fort Wayne to play Snider on Saturday night.
