The Warsaw Lady Tigers won in convincing fashion Tuesday evening over NLC-opponent Elkhart Memorial, 7-0. The duo of Audrey Grimm and Abby Steffensmeier were dominant in the attack again for Warsaw, as Grimm finished with two goals and two assists and Steffensmeier contributed two goals and one assist on the evening. Bonnie Hampton scored two goals of her own while fellow-freshman Rylee Burns finished with one goal. Gracie Scholl, Corissa Koontz, Rylee Burns also were credited with assists. Brielle Harrison earned her first career shutout in net for the Lady Tigers.
The two goals by Abby Steffensmeier move her career total to 68, just two shy from tying the record of 70 held by Liz VanWormer. The Tigers (6-2-1, 4-0) will host Concord Thursday evening at 7:00 at the Tiger Soccer Complex.
