On Senior Night, the Warsaw Track and Field team honored their seniors with two Northern Lakes Conference wins. The Tigers battled the weather and were able to come out on top of Northridge and Wawasee.
The Tigers took both first and second place in six different events. Leading the way for Warsaw were Sam Lechlitner and Jacob Kissling, both taking first and second place in the 1600 meter run and the 3200 meter run. Other athletes that were able to give the one-two punch were Eli Owen and John Culbertson in the 110 meter hurdles. Isaac Mitchel and Keegan Larsh in the 400 meter dash also came in first and second place. Hunter Metzger and Nick Bazzoni took first and second in the pole vault as well. Rounding out the team win was a sweep in the high jump going first, second, and third were Tyler Metzinger, Connor Lennox, and Cameron Harness.
Other Tigers leading the way was the 4×100 relay team consisting of Alijah Wade, Eli Owen, Mason Martz, and Jayton Brock, who took first place. Alijah Wade had a first place finish in the 200 meter dash and a second place finish in the 100 meter dash. Rounding out the night with second place finishes were Eli Owen in the 300 meter hurdles and Mason Martz in the long jump.

The Tigers will be back in action on Saturday, when they travel to Southport High School in Indianapolis to participate in the Southport Relays.
