Early turnovers and defensive mistakes too costly to overcome Monday in Mishawaka as the Warsaw JV Tigers suffer first loss of the season 30-16. Mishawaka ended the half with two quick scores in the final minutes reversing an 8-6 Tiger lead to a 22-8 advantage for Mishawaka at the break.
Morgan Johnson had two rushing touchdowns while Tucker Curtis helped with a couple two point conversions in the first and final quarters.
Lucas Wrenn and Cameron Moore led the Tigers defensively.
The Tigers are 3-1 on the season, 1-1 in NLC play. Warsaw will be back in action against Northridge @ Warsaw on Saturday 9/19 for a 10:00 am kickoff.
