Warsaw JV football got the shut out beating Concord 14-0 Monday night. The defense capitalized on two Minutemen turnovers in the first half. Connor Suissi recovered a fumble caused by Carson Sudlow and Demitri Chandler on the second Concord play from scrimmage. Trey Koontz snatched an interception late in the half to secure a 6-0 Tiger lead at the break.
German Flores got the only first half score running it in from 3 yds out.
The defense played solid throughout the second half to complete the shut out. Jayce Sawyer sealed the win late in the fourth quarter with a 4 yard rushing touchdown.
The Tigers finish the season 7-2 overall, 5-2 in NLC play.
