Andrew Childress will be recommended to the Warsaw Community Schools Board as the Strength and Conditioning Coach. Andrew, his wife Haley, and their son, Cole, live in Warsaw. Andrew graduated from Ball State University with a Master of Science degree in Exercise Science in 2017. Coach Childress is a Strengths and Conditioning Certified Coach (SCCC) and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Recent accomplishments include serving as the Strength Coach for the Ball State Women’s Soccer MAC regular-season champions and presenting at Michigan State University and Conditioning Clinic.

Andrew Childress comes to Warsaw Community Schools from Tippecanoe Valley High School with additional Strength and Conditioning coaching experiences at Mishawaka High School, Copper Sports Performance, the University of Indianapolis, Michigan State University, and M14 Hoops. While accepting the position, Coach Childress added,  “I am excited to join WCS as their new Strength and Conditioning Coach. It is a great opportunity for me and my family. Warsaw is a great community and I am honored to be a part of it. I am ready to get to work!” Warsaw Community Schools welcomes Andrew Childress and his family as the new Strength and Conditioning Coach.
