ANDERSON TO CONTINUE SOFTBALL AND STUDIES AT GOSHEN
Lady Tiger softball standout Katie Anderson has selected to continue her athletic career and academic studies at Goshen College in the fall.
Anderson, a spark in the lineup for coach Kevin Dishman’s Tigers this past season, led the team in stolen bases and was among the leaders in batting average. Anderson was also extremely versatile defensively, serving as both catcher and middle infielder during her senior year.
Not just an outstanding competitor and representative of WCHS on the softball field, the three-year starter was a scholar athlete and assisted with Feed My Starving Children.
The all-conference honorable mention selection plans to study biochemistry or biology at Goshen and play softball for coach Juliaclare Prezbert and the Maple Leafs. Goshen is a member of the NAIA and the Crossroads League.
Front Row (L-R): John Anderson, Katie Anderson, and Tina Anderson; Back Row: Dave Anson (WCHS Athletics), Gary Weber (Summer Coach), and Juliaclare Prezbert (Goshen College).
